形態特徵

• Evergreen shrubs or small trees. Branchlets glabrous.
• Leaves thick chartaceous, lanceolate to oblong-lanceolate, 6–10 cm long, 1.5–2 cm broad, apex long acuminate to caudate-acuminate, base acute, margin serrulate, glabrous on both surfaces and nearly concolorous, midrib and veins raised on both surfaces, lateral veins 6 or 7 pairs; petiole 1–2 mm long, glabrous.
• Racemes axillary, glabrous, 5–7 cm long; pedicel 2–3 mm long; bracts small, subulate, deciduous; calyx glabrous, 5-lobed, lobes triangular, ciliate; corolla glabrous, 5-lobed, lobes triangular, ciliate; stamens ca. 5 mm long, anthers with or without short spurs, filaments slender, pilose.
• Berry globose, 5–6 mm in diam.
